TEACHER NOTES

  1. Before class: Print this page (Ctrl+P / ⌘+P), cut out the 3 required QR codes, and hide them around the gym.
  2. Groups of 2–4 students share one Chromebook. Open Space Escape Room.html on each device.
  3. Exercise missions use the Chromebook webcam. Students stand in front of it. A partner can also tap "Manual Tap" button to count reps.
  4. QR scanning: Students hold the Chromebook up and point the camera at the hidden QR code. Works best with good lighting.
  5. Adjust difficulty: You can edit the rep counts (jumping jacks / push-ups) directly in the Space Escape Room.html file — search for reps:15 and reps:10.
  6. Secret teacher skip: If a team is very stuck, they can type HINT to get guidance. You can also whisper the answer!
  7. Timer: 25 minutes. Teams race to complete all 5 missions. Fastest time wins!
